Day 1: Arrival in Kampala,
Our experienced drivers/guides will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel where you’re going to spend a night while enjoying the weather of Uganda.
Day 2: Kampala drive,
In the morning after breakfast, Our guide will be picking you up from the hotel take you for the tour around Kampala and in this tour, you will be visiting some places like Gadafi mosque, Uganda Museum, King’s palace, Bahai temple, Kasubi tombs and many others to see, after seeing some of them, we will then go for a local dish as our lunch then transferred back to the hotel to get ready for the next day journey.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park
Our experience driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel early in the morning and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. When we get to the park, we shall have lunch and get ready for the afternoon game drive where you will see animals like giraffes, Hippos, Elephants and so many others.
After the game drive, we come back to the hotel for dinner and also have briefing with the guide about the next day activities.
Day 4: Activities in the Murchison falls National park
Very early in the morning around 5 am; we wake up, get ready for the ferry to take us for the morning game drive.
After the morning game drive, we shall come back to the hotel for lunch, as we also get ready for the afternoon boat cruise, where you will be able to see birds like king fishers and so many beautiful bird species, animals like Hippos, crocodiles and many others.
After the boat cruise, we shall come back to the hotel for dinner and also have a small briefing about the next long journey to fort portal.
Day 5: Transfer to fort portal,
in the morning, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will be transferred to fort portal in the western Uganda region, we shall have our packed lunch from a hotel in Masindi town and then we proceed with our journey to fort portal. We shall then have a stop and have our packed lunch in the a shade. We shall spend a night in fort portal town.
Day 6: Transfer to Hot springs and crater lakes,
in the morning, after the breakfast, the guide will pick you up and drive to the hot springs, after the hot springs, we come back for lunch, and rest as we are also getting ready for the evening or afternoon crater lake walk.
Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park,
In the morning after breakfast, we shall start our journey to Queen Elizabeth N.P, we shall be able to see the Equator, a cement factory, Mountain Rwenzori on the way, as our plan is to have lunch from the park. When we get to the park, we get ready for the evening game drive. We shall spend a night in the park while interacting with the animals.
Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park,
Early in the morning after breakfast we will go for Chimpanzee tracking. after the tracking, we drive to another destination (Ishasha) where we are going to spend another night as the guide goes through the activity to get ready for the next day (game drive for the climbing lions) and other species.
Day 9: Climbing lions in Ishasha
in the morning after breakfast, we will go for the game drive where we expect to see the climbing lions and also see other wild animals as well. After the game drive, we will immediately drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park so that we get ready for the next Day activity, which is gorilla tracking. We shall spend the night at Bwindi.
10: Gorilla tracking
Early in the morning, the guide will pick you up and take you to the tracking point for Gorilla tracking, there will be briefing as you’re also given groups/tracking team, gorilla tracking might take like 8 hours to come back, you will be provided packed lunch.
After the gorilla tracking, the guide will be waiting to take you back to the hotel to freshen up, as we also prepare to plan for departure the next day.
Day 11: Crossing the Rwanda Border
on this day, we are saying goodbye to Uganda as we are going to cross the border into another country. In Rwanda, the language changes to French, moving on the right hand side, our guide will be able to communicate to the locals, the time also changes where it’s 1 hour behind Uganda time. We shall drive to Musanzi town, where we are going to spend the night. We shall take an evening walk in Rwanda as we interact with people as well.
Day 12: Visiting the Muhabura ranges
in the morning after breakfast, we shall set off for Muhabura ranges; also do an optional Gorilla tracking (which is a bit expensive $1500). There is also an option of riding and that’s when you have the interest. After, we shall drive back to the hotel.
Day 13: Drive to Kibuye town
after having the breakfast in the morning, we will drive to another city in Rwanda called Kibuye to the shores of the Lake Kivu. This lake separates Rwanda and Congo (DRC). There is also extraction of gas from this lake you will be able to see the machines but from a far distance. We shall spend a night at some hotels around the lake as you’re enjoying the fresh air.
Day 14: Drive to the capital city of Rwanda, Kigali
Early in the morning after breakfast, we shall be travelling to the capital city of Rwanda known as Kigali. We shall have our lunch in Kigali at one of the biggest hotel in Kigali. After lunch, we shall take a tour around Kigali city where we will be visiting places like Genocide museum, Art museum, local markets or even coffee café as per your wish.
After the tour, the guide will hand you to the hotel to take care of you as he will be getting ready to drive back to Uganda that evening.
Day 15: Drive to Kigali International Airport
on this day, we are saying goodbye to Rwanda; the hotel will organize the transport to the airport for free according to the time of convenience.
