Habuharo Island, Lake Bunyonyi

The island is reached by a beautiful 25-minute boat ride from Ha’rutindo landing site, where steep terraced hills and open water create stunning views along the way. Habuharo Island is covered with mature trees, giving it a cool, natural, and private feel. It is also a great place for birdwatching, with species like the African Fish Eagle, Long Crested Eagle, Cormorants, and Red Chested Cuckoo often seen around the island.
