TRIP ITINERARY

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK & AFTERNOON BOAT SAFARI

Begin your adventure with a morning pick-up from your hotel and set off on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Pass through beautiful landscapes, including tea plantations, rolling hills, and lively local villages. Make a memorable stop at the Equator in Kasese, where you can take photos and stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Capture this unique experience and learn interesting facts about the Equator. Arrive in time for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway is teeming with wildlife, and you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species, such as the African fish eagle. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, filled with excitement from your first day.

DAY 2: MORNING GAME SAFARI AND CHIMP TREKKING AT KYAMBURA GORGE

Wake up early for a thrilling morning game safari in the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Drive through Kasenyi Plains, where you have a good chance of spotting lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and antelope herds grazing in the open. Your experienced guide will lead you to the best spots for wildlife sightings while sharing interesting insights about the park’s rich ecosystems. After lunch, head to Kyambura Gorge for an incredible chimp trekking adventure. Descend into this lush “Valley of Apes” and track a community of chimpanzees. As you hike through the dense forest, you may also spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, colorful birds, and other wildlife. Spend an hour observing the chimpanzees, watching them play and swing through the trees, before heading back to your lodge.
