8 Days Bwindi & primate Tracking

This Bwindi and primate tracking game drive gives you an opportunity to adventure to Primate World, Kibale national park which is the primate capital of the world. Bwindi Impenetrable national park is home of the famous Mountain gorillas. And at Mgahinga Gorilla national park, is where the silver meets Gold.

DAY ONE

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our Dark hills representatives who will transfer you to Kampala /Entebbe Town for the overnight.

DAY TWO

Early drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
, depart for Mgahinga National Park in kisoro district. Along the way, you will enjoy the wonderful vegetation, the long-horned Ankole cattle, and the Ugandan homesteads and farms.

DAY THREE

Set off early for Mgahinga a mountaneous Nationa park with three mountains namely Mt.Muhavura, Mt Gahinga and Mt Sabinyo. The Golden monkey trekking starts at Ntebeko park head quaters

DAY FOUR

The encounter with mountains gorillas
We drive you to the starting point of the gorilla tracking where you will be briefed. The forest is spectacular as it offers a heavily dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. The time taken to find the gorillas varies according to the terrain and the movements of these marvelous primates

DAY FIVE

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National
After breakfast, you drive through the bwindi impenetrable forest to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for the game drive in the open savannah on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley. A game drive through this sector with good tracking skills can lead you to the tree climbing lions found only in this part of the country. 

DAY SIX

Boat cruise along and Lake Edward
Set off fort the early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens mile tracks in the park and you may be able to see lions, elephants, Cape buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, spotted hyena, mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topis and birds. After Edward, we go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will be able to see many water birds, 

DAY SEVEN

Chimpanzees trekking in Kibale National Park
Today we are in the forest for the chimpanzee trek. This park has the largest concentration of chimpanzees and other primates in Uganda. 

DAY EIGHT

Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
set off after having breakfast for your journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
