4 days kidepo.n.park game drive

Kidepo Valley National Park is a 1,442 square kilometres (557 sq mi) national park in the Karamoja region in northeast Uganda. Kidepo is rugged savannah, dominated by the 2,750 metres (9,020 ft) Mount Morungole and transected by the Kidepo and Narus rivers.

DAY ONE

Leaving Kampala early, drive via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to Gulu or Kitgum and spend an overnight here.

DAY TWO

Complete your drive from Kitgum or Gulu, and set off for an evening game drive along the Narus Valley. There will be lots buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, oribis and elephants and try to locate lions,or leopards sunbathing atop rocks

DAY THREE

Visit the Lorokul Cultural Group and explore the fascinating, ancient culture of the Karamojong. Visit traditional homesteads, sample local dishes and hear stories of the folklore of this remote tribe.

DAY FOUR

Drive back to Kampala, or drive onwards to Sipi falls on Mount Elgon National Park.
