Kyambura Gorge

Kyambura Gorge is one of the most dramatic landscapes in western Uganda. Often called the “Valley of Apes,” this deep forested gorge cuts through the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The gorge is about 11 kilometers long and nearly 100 meters deep, creating a hidden tropical forest surrounded by open grasslands.
