OVERVIEW
DESCRIPTION
Uganda, also known as the Green Pearl of Africa. In this 8-day Uganda adventure, we will show you why Uganda is named this way. You will experience an amazing journey through Uganda's diverse landscapes and wildlife. Begin by tracking rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where Uganda's only wild rhinos live.
We will go on some amazing (boat)safaris in Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and many birds along the Nile River! Hike to the top of Murchison Falls for stunning views and a close look at the powerful waterfall. Next, you will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for more safari-adventures, where you can see herds of buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes, and if you are lucky, the famous tree climbing lions.
A boat ride along the Kazinga Channel, where you meet hundreds of hippos and other wildlife sipping water along the shore is something that you should definitely not miss. An optional hike to meet our cousins, the chimpanzees, can also be included! After, you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience with these rare primates. Relax with a boat ride on peaceful Lake Bunyonyi, home to otters and many birds. Finally, enjoy a cycling safari in Lake Mburo National Park, where you will spot zebras, giraffes, monkeys, and more from your bicycle! You can’t come close to wildlife than this.
