Overview
This adventure takes you to Kibale Forest National Park, one of the most attractive national parks in Uganda with varied tracts of tropical rain forest and several animals. The park covers 795 km2 of the rain forest, swamps, rivers, and a few areas of grassland. It is home to more than 1,450 chimpanzees protected inside the park and in total thirteen primate species.
This is an important eco-tourism and safari destination, popular for its population of habituated chimpanzees and other 12 species of primates.
Itinerary
In the morning, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Kibale National Park which is also known for Chimpanzees, it is also home to over 13 types of primates which is mesmerizing to look at. You will have lunch in Fort Portal, which is also dubbed the “Tourism City of Uganda”. Lying on the edge of Uganda’s equatorial rainforest, this area code is an enchanting land full of crater lakes, grassland, tea plantations, forests, and mountain ranges. Afterward, continue to Kibale national park.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking. This park is not only known for Chimpanzees, it is also home to over 13 types of primates which is mesmerizing to look at. After chimp trekking, you will come back to the hotel for lunch and after you will go for an afternoon activity, the Bigodi swamp community walk, the swamp is also an eco-tourism base that holds hundreds of people in the communities around it and you can find over 20 bird species and various primates, mammals, insects and frogs which make the swamp an interesting one.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala but on the way, you will have an opportunity to see some mountain ranges, crater lakes. You will have lunch somewhere on the way.
