Overview
This trip takes to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa, visit the Ssezibwa waterfalls which are considered an important cultural and spiritual site for the Baganda people. They are also one of the top things to see in Uganda. It’s also under the administration of the Buganda culture and tourism department, go to Mabira Forest, one of Uganda’s largest surviving Natural Forests and also has a Natural Habitat of 312 species of trees, home of 315 species of Birds, 218 Butterfly Species, 97 Moth Species, 23 Small Mammal Species. The trip also allows taking on the Nile in a full-day rafting experience and finally going to Sipi Falls which is particularly famous for locally grown Bugisu Arabica coffee for activities like hiking and also visiting coffee plantations.
Itinerary
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will start your tour where you will visit places like Sezibwa waterfalls, which is considered an important cultural and spiritual site for the Baganda people, do a forest nature walk in the Mabira forest, one of the big rainforests in Uganda and finally go to Jinja which is best known for its location on Lake Victoria at the source of the Nile, Africa’s longest river. After all these activities, you will spend your night at one of the hotels in Jinja nearing the River Nile.

After an early breakfast, the guide will drive you to the starting point where you will meet up with other people for the rafting activity, since this is a full day rafting, you will have meals from there. After the activity, you will drive back to the hotel to prepare for the next day.

After a filling breakfast, you will be transferred to Sipi Falls and this area is particularly famous for locally grown Bugisu Arabica coffee. Bugisu Arabica only grows at an altitude of between 1,600 and 1,900 meters. When you get to Sipi, you will do some activities in the afternoon like hiking, visiting coffee plantations, community visits.

You will set off your journey back to Kampala after having your breakfast, you will have lunch on the way, preferably in Jinja. Thereafter continue to Kampala.
