Itinerary
Our driver will be waiting for you at the airport, ready to take you to your lodging where you will spend your night. Depending on your arrival time, there are lots of exciting activities to do in Kampala/Entebbe, like visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, Reptile Village, or even a Kampala city tour.

In the morning after breakfast, our guide will pick you up for a tour around This Kampala city tour allows you to tour and see the highlights of Uganda’s capital city. It also gives you a chance to visit Uganda’s cultural sites, religious structures, market setups, transportation modes, and the political and economic history of Uganda. You will visit places like Gadafi Mosque, Uganda Museum, King’s Palace, Bahai Temple, Owino Market, and many others. You will then go for a local lunch before going back to your hotel to get ready for the next day’s journey.

In the morning, our guide will pick you up from the hotel for the drive to Fort Portal, which is also dubbed the “Tourism City of Uganda”. Lying on the edge of Uganda’s equatorial rainforest, this area code is an enchanting land full of crater lakes, grassland, tea plantations, forests, and mountain ranges. You will have a stop somewhere halfway for a Ugandan snack (Rolex), then proceed to Fort Portal for lunch. Afterward, continue to the hot springs and, if time allows, also go to the crater lakes before heading to the hotel.

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive through different crater lakes, cross the equator, view magnificent mountain Rwenzori ranges, cement factories. When you get to the hotel you will do a boat safari at Kazinga channel, home to a wide range of animals and birds, including one of the world’s largest concentrations of hippos (around 2000) and countless crocodiles. This channel is a wide and long natural channel of 32km (20mi) that links two freshwaters, Lake George and Lake Edward.

The earliest bird catches the worm, and this is definitive of the morning game safari. Offering you great insights into the lives of our “morning” wild counterparts; lions, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, waterbucks, warthogs and so much more. This should cover the rest of the morning and after a bit of chill time, we would be set for the Chimp Trekking. Well scientists say that chimps are humanity’s closest living relatives, and so perhaps this experience will give you a great insight into how true this is.

Go on a morning game safari to Ishasha which is famous because of the unique tree-climbing lions. This Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park is dominated by candelabra trees with big branches that allow lions to hang up there. There are also the savannah word land trees like the acacia trees. After you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, also a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. It is most notable for the 400 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s population of endangered mountain gorillas.

After an early breakfast, the guide will pick you up and take you to the starting point for gorilla tracking. There will be a briefing as you’re given groups/tracking team. Gorilla tracking might take up to 8 hours so you will be provided packed lunch. Afterward, the guide will be waiting to take you back to the hotel to freshen. There are also optional activities like community visits in the afternoon.

After a filling breakfast, you will be transferred to Uganda’s smallest park that is known for Zebras – Lake Mburo National Park. You will have a lunch stop in Mbarara at one of the recognized cultural centers/hotels. Thereafter continue to the hotel and get some chill in the afternoon – reading a book perhaps or getting lost in the wonders of nature, as you gear up for yet another exciting activity – a night game safari to see more wildlife. The main focus of the night game safari is to see the nocturnals; leopards, hyenas, bushbabies, and many more.

In the morning after breakfast, you will go for a morning game safari to spot animals such as impalas, zebras, elands, Topi, antelopes, bush rat, slender mongoose, duiker, Oribis, Bogor reedbuck, and Klipspringers to mention a few. After you will come back for lunch and depart to Entebbe but you have a great opportunity to have a stopover at the Equator, which not only serves as a great spot for photos but an opportunity for a quick stretch. Afterward, continue to the airport.
