This is why we strongly recommend all clients get travel insurance before their trip. Travel insurance protects you, your belongings, and your investment in the adventure.

Why Travel Insurance Matters

Travel insurance gives you support and financial protection in situations beyond your control. Whether it is illness, travel delays, or lost belongings, having coverage helps you enjoy your safari with confidence.

Recommended Coverage

We suggest that your travel insurance policy includes the following areas:

1. Trip Cancellation or Interruption
2. Reimbursement of non-refundable expenses if you have to cancel or shorten your trip because of illness, injury, or other covered reasons
3. Medical Expenses
4. Coverage for medical treatment, hospital stays, or emergency evacuation needed during your safari
5. Baggage and Personal Belongings
6. Protection in case your luggage or personal items are lost, stolen, or damaged during travel

8. Coverage for extra costs caused by delays such as additional hotel nights, meals, or alternative transport

We do not provide travel insurance directly, but we encourage clients to select a reputable provider with coverage that fits their needs. When choosing a policy, check:

Proof of Insurance

Before your safari, clients must provide proof of valid travel insurance. This includes your policy number, emergency contact information, and any specific requirements from your insurance provider.
