What to Bring on Your Uganda Safari?

Yay, your African Safari is booked! But what essentials should you pack? Don’t worry, we have got you covered. We have been on lots of safaris and learned what to pack (and what to avoid), so you don’t have to stress about it. Here’s what you will need:

Binoculars and Camera

Binoculars and Camera: Bring binoculars to see animals far, and a camera to capture all the exciting moments.

Light clothes

Wear light and comfortable clothes. It can be quite hot in the parks and therefore light clothes will help you a lot!

Hat and/or Sunglasses

Protect yourself from the sun with a hat and/or sunglasses. They keep you cool and safe from sunburn.

Power Bank

Since you will be going far away from the cities and deep in the wild, electricity might not be always stable if available. A power bank is your savior!

Flashlight or Head Lamp

When there is a power outage, a flashlight is your light in the darkness.

Sun Screen

Very essential. Protect your skin from the sun’s rays with sunscreen. Choose a high SPF for maximum protection.

Insect Repellent

Keep mosquitoes and other bugs away with insect repellent. Look for a formula containing DEET for effectiveness.
